Technologies Education is an integrated, encounter-primarily based instructional system made to prepare students to be knowledgeable about technologies – its evolution, systems, technologies, utilization, and social and cultural significance. Until not too long ago, it was believed that the development of technologies was restricted only to human beings, but 21st century scientific studies indicate that other primates and certain dolphin communities have created simple tools and passed their expertise to other generations. Technology management demands to be separated from study and improvement (R&D) management.

An integral component of the system of research in Marlyand’s schools, technologies education is a new basic for all students. It is expertise-based and entails the application of mathematics and science concepts in such techological systems as, but not limited to construction, manufacturing, communications, transportation, biotechnology, and power and energy.
